Here are some pics of our backyard after Ike. The pictures don't do it justice, however, we know that this is NOTHING compared to what others are dealing with and for that we are blessed!
Neighbor's banana tree
One of our wax myrtles split and this one had another one laying on top of it.
Branches scattered about
The center wax myrtle split in half and uprooted itself. We salvaged some of them but think they will probably die over time. They don't look great anyway so we'll probably end up replacing them.
We forgot to take a pic of our roof before the neighbor fixed it so can't show you that.
Thanks to all who helped us out while having no electricity. It came on today at 12:30! Yahoo!!!
